Rock (folding and thrusting)
This truck-sized, suspended sculpture was created specifically for my solo exhibition titled Folding and Thrusting at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. “Folding” and “thrusting” are geology terms to describe types of mountain formations but are also subversive references to the manipulation of a body.
